Eight different opponents this week among four different Bowl Games. 'Round and 'round she goes, where she stops, nobody knows!

Good news, if you can call it that, is many prognosticators have a B12 team in the final four with most favoring OU or OSU.

I'll take the Texas, Cactus or Russell Athletic.

Cactus is likely most winnable & a breath of fresh air against a Pac-12 team for a changeup.

Absolutely the most accurate statement of the week on both counts. Unlike most years, there are several Pac-12 schools I think we stand a good chance of beating for once if we can get a matchup with one of them.

Not a single bowl in a city I want to visit.... .....for what really is just another game.

Wow. I don't know where you live, Orlaco, but you couldn't use a few days in better weather at the holidays?

Also don't understand the "just another game" notion. Interesting new opponents aren't intriguing?

Many may know...but I doubt you do...where I live. ...but, I actually prefer fall/winter. Sure I like when we play new or interesting teams but I'm not going to make it a vacation event when those teams suck. You'd agree those bowl type teams often suck...right ?

How many trips to Texas can a person pretend is 'special' ?

Well, if you prefer colder weather then that explains why Phoenix or Orlando wouldn't interest you much. I do understand the Texas part now that we play there twice each season...that state wouldn't be my top choice, either.

While it's undeniably true that many bowl teams these days are undeserving and mediocre, I can't really say WVU faces any of those teams too often. If anything, our bowl history has typically seen us matched against demonstrably stronger opponents. That's probably the one thing which somewhat mitigates Nehlen's poor bowl record.

I'm always completely thrilled when we draw someone totally new at bowl time like the Ole Miss, Georgia, and Texas A&M matchups. Hopefully we get another one this year and I'll pick up the travel slack for you.
