Baseball to Hold Open Tryouts
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (August 24, 2015) – The West Virginia University baseball team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2016 season on Thursday, Sept. 17, for WVU students interested in joining the team.
Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the workout will begin at 7 p.m. lasting 1-2 hours. The workout will take place at Monongalia County Ballpark. Students must attend the workout in athletic gear in order to participate.
Interested students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits each semester) at WVU and have remaining NCAA eligibility. Participants must present the following documentation at the tryout:
1. Proof of Insurance
2. Completed physical (physical must be within the last six months)
3. Proof of Registration as a WVU Student (e.g., printout of class schedule or letter from the registrar)
4. Completed Compliance Form (Attached)
