"I am extremely thankful and blessed to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at West Virginia University! First I want to thank god for giving me this opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing division one baseball at a very high level. I also want to thank all my family, friends, and coaches for supporting me relentlessly to help me get to this point. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Sabins and the rest of the West Virginia coaching staff for believing in me and making this all possible. Excited to be a Mountaineer!!"
