WVU Release WVU Baseball Broadcast Schedule Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Feb. 14, 2024) The upcoming 2024 West Virginia baseball season will feature 26 home games and at least 15 road games broadcast on the ESPN family of networks. The Mountaineers will also be featured on national television three times with broadcasts on ESPN2, ESPNU and FS1.



Big 12 Now on ESPN+ is accessible to subscribers through the ESPN+ tab of the latest version of the ESPN app, on the web, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV (Generation 3 & 4), Android Handset, Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, Xbox, Playstation, Oculus Go and Samsung connected TVs (Tizen). ESPN+ is available for $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year or can be bundled with Disney+ and Hulu for $14.99 per month. Cancel anytime.



The highlights of the 2024 broadcast schedule include three nationally televised games – March 22 at Oklahoma on FS1, April 30 against Pitt at PNC Park on ESPNU, and May 8 at home against Penn State on ESPN2.



Beginning on March 7 against BYU, West Virginia baseball can be heard across the Mountaineer Sports Network on 22 affiliate radio stations as well as via free audio streaming through the Varsity Sports Network app, the WVU Gameday app, and at wvusports.com.

Andrew Caridi will handle the play-by-play duties on radio for his second full season with the Mountaineers where he will be joined by former WVU assistant coach Jake Weghorst.



West Virginia opens its 2024 season down in DeLand, Florida, taking on Stetson for four games. Following the series in the Sunshine State, WVU will stay on the road for three games at Charlotte.



The Mountaineers' home opener is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 28, against Canisius at Wagener Field at Monongalia County Ballpark. WVU's home schedule features Big 12 opponents BYU, Oklahoma State, UCF, Baylor, and Kansas State, in addition to non-conference opponents Ohio State, Akron, Marshall, Penn State, and Pitt.
