WVU Release WVU Baseball Announces 2025 Promo Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Feb. 20, 2025) The 2025 West Virginia University baseball season’s promotions at Kendrick Family Ballpark include season-long favorites of Baseball Bingo, Friday Night Happy Hour, and Kids Day. Multiple giveaways including posters, schedule magnets, trucker hats, fleece throw blankets, tug-bone dog toys, enter-to-win prizes, and a Victor Scott II bobblehead courtesy of United Bank will be featured at select games.



Fans can participate in Baseball Bingo at the ballpark every weekday game this season for a chance to win a WVU prize pack starting Tuesday, March 11, against Towson.



Friday Night Happy Hour returns to the ballpark for six games this season, where fans can enjoy half-priced beverages from time gates open until first pitch every Friday night (March 7, March 21, April 4, April 18, May 2, May 16).



The 2025 season has two Dollar Days set for Tuesday, March 11, against Towson and Wednesday, March 19, against James Madison. In addition, $2 Tuesday is back; fans can expect select concession items to be on sale for just $2 every Tuesday game.



Kids Day will begin on Sunday, March 23, against Arizona and be set for the rest of Big 12 Sundays. Kids and their families are welcome to stay after the game for post-game autographs, run the bases, and collect trading cards of your favorite Mountaineers. During the game, fans can enjoy the Kids Zone where there will be inflatables set up. The postgame egg hunt will return this season on Saturday, April 19, against Cincinnati.



The first Family Day of the year is on Sunday, March 9, against Kennesaw State with families able to purchase 4 tickets and a $10 concession voucher for $35. This game will also welcome back all youth campers with free admission for Camper Reunion Day and Youth Sports Day. For Big 12 play, Family Days are set for Sunday, March 23, and Sunday, April 6; families can purchase the ticket package for $50.



Other themed games include Decades Weekend starting on Friday, March 21, against Arizona with 700 fans receiving throwback jersey key tags on Saturday, Hawaiian Luau Night on April 18, against Cincinnati, Bark at the Ballpark on April 19, against Cincinnati with the first 175 furry friends receiving a Mountaineer baseball tug bone toy, and Star Wars Day on May 4, against Texas Tech with the first 750 fans receiving a special themed movie poster. Fans are also encouraged to wear WHITE for a White Out at the ballpark.



The game against Marshall will be True Blue on Tuesday, March 25 with a WVU Baseball beanie giveaway for the first 800 fans, courtesy of WVU Medicine. Additionally, Gold Rush is set for Sunday, April 6, against Utah.



“Stripe the Ballpark” is back at the ballpark against Pitt with fans in even sections encouraged to wear GOLD and those in odd to wear BLUE. The designated student section, 109, will be encouraged to also wear GOLD.



Military Appreciation Day is on April 17, against Cincinnati with discounted tickets available for veterans and active-duty military members.



Other giveaways include Tucson Regional Champions pennants on the home opener to the first 250 fans on February 25, Mountaineer script fleece throw blankets for the first 150 fans on March 8, against Kennesaw State, gold Mountaineer script trucker hats for the first 350 fans on April 5 against Utah, and a Victor Scott II bobblehead to the first 450 fans on May 16, courtesy of United Bank.
