WV boy Pitts a man amongst boys yesterday

Dominant performance by Pitts yesterday. He started at safety yesterday but is also our best corner actually. Bigtime ceiling and upside for Pitts who is only a 2nd year sophomore. He’s going to be a star. Tall and athletic, tough. Another good WV kid.

Next year Reese Donahue, Darius Stills, Dante Stills start on all WV defensive line. Martinsburg stud Tavis Lee will rush passer and help. Tonkery is back at LB with Morgantowns Shea Campbell backing up, providing depth. Dwayne Grantham from Martinsburg is instant impact help at LB. Deamonte Lindsay, Pitts will start in secondary with Kerry Martin providing instant depth along with Dante Bonamico from Bridgeport. Amir Richardson is so big and athletic he won’t redshirt at safety.

Probably 7 WV boys starting on defense for WV next year easy. 6 guaranteed to start. Defense will be very good next year. A grad transfer or 2 will be added. Defense will be good next year.

Pitts sucks as a corner. He constantly gets faked out by the stop and go route. He is better as a safety.

Attention for a good deserving player that played great. He has the most upside of all the cornerbacks but is a excellent safety already in year 2.

Keith Washington got toasted all day against Kansas after a solid showing vs Texas Tech. He did get burned by Texas Tech once for a TD but made plays as well. Bailey has zero upside and Norwood got worked badly by Youngstown State. Pitts is the best corner we have and he’s going to end up being a star at either position.
