Wren has made outstanding hires so far. Bean was not his fault and Gee/Luins tied his hands with that BS contract. Every hire has been very good to great. Let’s hope he saves his best hire for the next 7 days.

Don't hang your WB hat on that one. He did the responsible thing given the circumstances. After last year and the upcoming recruiting cycles, it would have been worse to not extend him. And it was only one year with reasonable concessions. Overall, it wasn't a bad deal, Neal just shit the bed on his end.

Remember how we started practice in August and the vibe before the PSU game? This was supposed to be NBs best team! And who wouldn't disagree with all the returning players, positive sounding portal acquisitions, some hopefuls on the freshman recruits.

Well, the returning players for the most part didn't improve, some regressed, the portal was mostly a bust, but there are some of the recruits who have done well. So if NB had held up his end, we would be more concerned about what in coming recruits we can get that will take us over the top to the CCG!

But Neal shit the bed and didn't deliver! If it was DoorDash you'd be pissed at the local driver or restaurant, but you wouldn't blame the guy who developed the app.
