I can think of two or three that were worse than that! @Texas, home v Baylor and of course the last game v Kentucky. Agree it was a good season, but with a few breaks from the Officials, could have been a great season. Two or three more wins would have got us a 3 or 4 seed, and maybe we draw Michigan State or Louisville instead of Kentucky and advance to the Elite 8?
Still our future is bright. If we can find some consistent outside scoring and tighten up our interior Defense--& learn to FINISH at the rim, we're good for at least 5 or six more wins next year which would mean at least 30 W's and maybe even a Conference Championship.
That would be a lock to get back to the dance with as high as a 2 seed--which should almost guarantee us a spot advantageous to a deep run.
I'm anxious to see how the newcomers fit in with the guys who are here and have totally bought in to Hugg's style.
