Here is a look at all of the articles I wrote on each of the prospects during their recruitments.

Kevin White -
Obviously as anybody that has been on this board long enough remembers, White is one of those players that I truly believed could be special and I was pretty much on board from the first time I got a look at his film. He showed flashes during his first spring and first year on campus, but once he cleaned everything up this past year he lived up to those lofty expectations.

Mountaineers on top for JUCO WR - This is after we broke the news that West Virginia was hosting the unheralded JUCO prospect on an official visit and the Mountaineers vaulted to the top.

Mario Alford -
Alford was committed to Arizona for much of the process but after Tony Gibson came over he immediately popped on the board for the Mountaineers. The one thing that stood out by watching his film was his speed, and true to form that became the thing that defined him. A dynamic special teams player, Alford had to adjust to the college game but saved his best for last. He would commit to West Virginia on signing day and our Anthony Krumpach had the scoop there.

Alford considers options after visit - Alford took a late visit to West Virginia and the Mountaineers made quite an impression.

Mark Glowinski - The offensive lineman was somebody you didn't hear much about until late in the process because the Mountaineers were in good standing with junior college offensive tackle Tavon Rooks before he elected to sign with Kansas State. Offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh prioritized Glowinski, who was a junior college All-American, and he would make the trip to Morgantown in January before selecting the Mountaineers. Potential was the choice word thrown around regarding Glowinski and the Mountaineers were fortunate that a player of his caliber was still on the board.

JUCO lineman has WVU in top 3 - West Virginia had just missed on one of the junior college targets Tavon Rooks and Glowinski became a top target for the staff.

Glowinski finds comfort zone - He goes in depth on his decision to select the Mountaineers.

Shaq Riddick - Riddick was a name that popped in the summer as a transfer and already had a pedigree at the FCS level so while his impact wasn't a surprise some wondered if he would translate with his size but obviously he was able to and is an athletic pass rusher.

Dreamius Smith - Smith received a lot of attention from several programs out of junior college but it ultimately came down to Oklahoma State and West Virginia. A big physical running back that could be a bell cow, Smith would choose West Virginia and while he would enroll early and had a big impact at times he struggled at times to get on the field.

Quinton Spain - Spain was a four-star recruit out of high school and had a lot of hype in large part because of his size and skillset. While he would move around to different positions he would become a stalwart on the offensive line.
