Agree. He has an edge to him that's nice to see. All business it seems. Just hope it continues
We'll see we've only seen two games. He just seems tough and I like his attitude. That's my opinion. Maryland will tell us a lot more.Does that "edge" you speak of meaning that he makes 5-6 bad QB reads on the option and keeps the ball only to get 1 yard and a hard hit????? Personally, I think he has been mediocre thus far when you compare the opponents he's faced. Even Dana thinks so. I would grade him at a C or C-. But, who am I? Just my opinion. I am worried that he will struggle against faster teams, and teams that aren't in the Sun Belt or FCS. Just saying.
It should...he'll need to show some elusiveness, and create something out of nothing quite a bit more in 2 weeks...make the correct decision when the heat is on...We'll see we've only seen two games. He just seems tough and I like his attitude. That's my opinion. Maryland will tell us a lot more.
What QB didn't want to be out there?
Dana's QB's always look the first half of the season. Then for whatever reason we can't move the ball.
If the OP was directing his comments to Trickett, that's simply stupid. Kid took a lot of punishment and from most accounts played injured.
Geno ...
Yea... ...I remember Geno telling the press he didn't want to start. ...he even suggested that he would have a teammate break his bones before he'd step on the field.
Yeah, you should try paying attention to what was actually said.
You should try to better express yourself because what I wrote is a sensible reply to your posts....which you now seem to think mean something different than the words you typed.
No, you should learn what a competitive edge is.........not my fault you didn't play sports.
This week your homework assignment is to learn the difference between a competitor and someone with talent that puts up a lot of stats.
This makes no sense. Who didn't want to compete? Chad Johnston?
Yea... ...stats are completely misleading. Let V know he should quit staring threads with them being the entire subject.
Yea, we have a QB with a 'competitive edge' over both GS and Liberty. Since you're such a huge jock (and can even know when another poster hasn't played a sport) shouldn't you understand that a player hasn't done anything until he has done something (beat teams) worth noting ??
I'll take the guy who will put up the stats over the guy that wishes he could every time.....
I'll take the guy that pushes himself to perform at his very best every time...and pushes his teammates to do the same. I'll also take a guy who enjoys winning over a guy who is just happy to win. I'll take a guy who is willing to let someone else shine, instead of just trying to pad stats.

Hail..................every one of the WV players................yesterday and today WANT to be on the field. Anyone who thinks different needs to get a life. I played many a game on the college and pro level and never felt like I was on the field with a single person who didn't want to be there.
Does this fella here look like he WANTS to be on the field??? You're damn straight he does!Hail..................every one of the WV players................yesterday and today WANT to be on the field. Anyone who thinks different needs to get a life. If prior quarterbacks didn't want to be out there, why in the hell were they out there?? Maybe the goofiest post I have ever read on this site ( and there have been a lot of goofy ones).
Does that "edge" you speak of meaning that he makes 5-6 bad QB reads on the option and keeps the ball only to get 1 yard and a hard hit????? Olive branch post...
....why can't you enjoy what Howard offers without trashing a former player??
That's not really a question....just a thought that I'm sure many readers are asking themselves in regard to your posts.
Good grief! Confusion seems to rule the day with 3:16.
Geno had/has his faults. And sometimes his faults seem to create head games that limit his effectiveness. But that doesn't mean he doesn't want to compete.
Now it very well may be that Howard better understands how to approach the game and that may make him more consistent. But that in no way shape or form does that mean that Geno does not/did not want to compete.
3:16 .... since I detect this faulty thinking of yours am I to conclude that you really don't want your posts taken seriously? No! Of course not. And so likewise ... just because Geno has demonstrated some faults that affect his performance we cannot assume that he does not desire to compete.
TorontoEERs.................now don't you go giving the company's pickles away. Keep sending Holgs a bucket of two but NOBODY else! You heah me son?Does this fella here look like he WANTS to be on the field??? You're damn straight he does!
