With graduations, does anybody think we'll be better next year? No way

If Dana couldn't win with this defense, do you think he'll win with next year's? He hasn't developed a Big XII level QB. Dana already says that Skyler knows the offense as well as any QB he's had so there's not much to improve on there. Is he going to get faster? Develop a better arm? He's not going to get much better. I like the kid but if we didn't win 9 games with this year's supporting cast, there's no chance next year of even winning eight.

Look at who we're graduating ... 12 STARTERS if you count our special teams. By the way. We don't have lousy Maryland to beat up next year. Only one gimme game.

We are revamping ENTIRE DEFENSE. So here's what we are looking at.

Keep Dana in 2016.: Skyler is QB. Go 6-6 AT BEST. Fire Dana at end of year. Next coach has to rebuild entire team. in 2017, Crest and Sills are juniors learning a new system.

Fire Dana now: Go 5-7 next year but figure out new system with new QB (whoever that is). 2017 we have a solid rebuilt defense, players know the offense and we've a got a solid QB (or two) for 2017 AND 2018.

We need to think ahead here. Nothing could be more appropriate than to take all that beer sales money and use it to buy out Dana's contract and send him and deforest down the road.

of course, you're right. but this year, next year... does it really matter? dana will have the hottest seat in cfb next year. it's inevitable now. you can relax.

I agree with some of your points but to say he hasn't developed a big 12 QB, Hell he hasn't developed a Division 1 QB in his time here

Not sure if this makes your a "mouth breather"/"low information fan" It seems that if you are critical of the coaching staff or suggest that maybe WVU replace the coaching staff at the end of the season or next season you are clearly worthy of scorn. However those that dictate who are ignorant fans do not clarify if its because you shouldn't expect WVU to improve as a program or if its because you do not realize that DH is the man to take WVU to a competitive Big XII program.

Even if we are better, Dana will find a way screw things up. You can count on that.

No future as long as the head of the Clown Show remains. The guy should have nothing to do with a WVU football ever again.

There is nothing special about DH. He is an average coach at best. Next year his defenders will say that its a rebuilding year the same thing they said about this year. Its pretty pathetic when you say that considering your a 7-6 football team. You know you don't have the right guy for the job when claim your in a rebuilding year after you just went 7-6
