WVSPORTS.COM Why West Virginia's Schedule Looms Large In 2018 Success

Two difficult road games in first four and a killer last four...ugh. it is going to come down to the offensive and defensive line health...just not deep enough. Hey, but for now we are undefeated!

I don't think Tennessee will be worth much. They will have a slight advantage in Charlotte in terms of fans. NC State will be a little tougher OOC because it's a true road game.

In conference Beat Oklahoma and the 2 schools named State and we will fine.

The key for WVU's success in 2018 imo is 3 fold:
1). Health on the Oline to keep Grier healthy & FINALLY have a decent running game
2). Dana Holgorsen taking more control of the play calling. Spavital gets too cute, too much and running Grier on a naked bootleg on 2nd and Goal from the 1 demonstrated that.
And
3). Grier can't throw INTs like he's Skylar Howard.

Take care of thise 3 things WVU can win BIG.

You didn't even mention defense, 3x. That is the side of the ball that you should be worried about, not WVU's offense. A typical 7-5 season is likely.

Hate to burst your Bubble. WVU 2-1 in OOC and 6-3 in conference finishing 8-4. Wins bowl game to go 9-4. Saving Holgs job once again.

”Slight”? Send me some of what you’re smoking, please.

Tennessee is rebuilding most of it's team. The defense of Tennessee will be it's best component.
