Why should Americans pay out of their pocket for anything when the "Fed" can, and does, print trillions on a whim, while devaluing our currency in the process?
Not sure why they would shocked? I explained awhile back this wasn't going to be like Iraq and other places because they wouldn't be getting the same Combined Arms Support. It's alot harder without Naval Gun Fire, Air Support, Large Artillery Batteries, and Lots of Heavy Armor. I warned them not to get involved. Unless they were Special Operations they were not prepared for this task and most of those guys had enough sense to sit this one out. Anyone saying otherwise is a moron or lying. Hopefully the Oligarchs still pay them instead of buying a new sports car or a Villa in Spain.
