Why is college game day NOT in charlotte next Saturday?

after all....THE flagship will be in a dogfight with those nasty whatever they call charlotte these days.....must see TV...I just don't understand who makes these game day decisions

Why would Gameday go to Charlotte when they could wait another week and go to the Joan and showcase Americas Team as they take on mighty ODU ? They are probably already trying to work out a deal with Tic Toc Tire so they can locate their set there !
