Why Doesn't Skyler look to his check down out of backfield?

It seems like (not just this game but previous too) Skyler will have receivers covered downfield and then he'll hand onto the ball and get a coverage sack or commit a turnover.

On at least a few of those, it looked like he had the back open in the flat but never looked over.

I agree, hopefully they will see the tape and get through to him that he needs to use his check down every once in a while
