Why are two east coast teams tipping off at 10 on a weekday

The time sucks for me.
And I wonder if the late tip will gave any impact on the game. But I really wonder why the NCAA is doing 10 pm tips on week nights. Besides us UK is playing for history. Why is the tipoff so late.
