Kelly, they just don't get that they are the ones who try to act like they are a big time program. No we don't

They are the ones that never compare themselves to any other power five team because then they would have to recognize their real place in college football. Yes we do, we measure ourselves against the best of the best every year

They don't want to acknowledge that their 14-19 record against other P5 teams over the last three years demonstrates what a below average program they have become. Our recent record is below average, nobody denies that

The only way they can continue to try and fool themselves is to compare wvu to a G5 school with a third of the resources. We don't compare WVU to a G5 school with a third of the resources, we respond to fans of a G5 school with a third of the resources (and 28% of that comes from the taxpayers) that have never beaten us ... big difference that I don't expect you to understand

That's worked well for them, but now that The Marshall University has once again become one of the winningest programs in college football they have to try harder and harder to discredit the new flagship in anyway possible. Laughable, here is a list of the winningest programs in FBS history and Marshall is no where on the list. How do you quantify/justify your statement?

I highly doubt they could field a team of anything but walk-ons after a stretch like that. They stay in their protective bubble and talk shit. They, their fans, Doc, their AD, and Cabell Huntington Hospital doesn't want any part of a schedule like that. But, it would be fun to watch.

They'd figure out how an 0 for 5 stretch turns into a 5 and 0 stretch (officials, "made you put your starters back in", we'd have beaten them the following year, we want half the gate or we're not coming back, they threatened our asshole fans, they're scared to come to Methcity, WVU couldn't have won those games, we had a plane crash for God's sake and we're not past that, Bill Legg is the reason we lost, we played a true freshman QB(because he was the best on our roster), pop tax is killing our AD, we're boycotting all P5 teams now....along with Walmart, they recruit JUCO All Americans....we have to take our chances on non-qualifiers, if our best players didn't quit or transfer or were arrested, we're coming off scholarship reductions due to cheating, WV taxpayers aren't giving us enough money, if we had a real law school or engineering school or med school..., the legislature is pro WVU, we need an IPF but can't afford one because we lose money every year, if we were just on TV, we're the Notre Dame of G5 and everyone guns for us.
