Who will be 2016's Frank "The Tank" Young?

In other words...who will get hot and be instant offense when he normally wasn't?


My guess is Carter. He had a very good B12 tourney until the final.

We need someone to draw the defense way from the paint.

I agree that it could be Carter. Carter is a big contributor but does it without flash. As a result, he goes unsung. Make no mistake.................Carter is a player! Same could be said for Nate.

Imagine if Carter, Paige, Holton and Devin get "Hot" at the same time along with Dax and Adrian. Now imagine The Mountaineers as NCAA Championships. Because in March Madness it can happen.

Younger! I was going to post a thread asking the same...underrated March Mountaineers.

My all-time pick is Frank Young for underrated 'Eers showing up in March. He destroyed the NIT field, a great NIT field at that. Tyrone Sally was a great underrated WVU player in March as well.

This team, I'll go Jaysean Paige. Yes, a leading scorer, but I could see Young-like performances coming from Paige. His rainbow shot vs OU in the BXII semis should be stuff legends are made of. Hield gets credit for the shot that wasn't. What's missing is Paige hit that huge shot from the top of the key that counted and won the game.

I think after a so so b12 tourney Phillips heading home to Brooklyn could be a great recipe for an outstanding tourney. We need him to be great for us to be great and I like our chances
