This was, without question, a make or break year for Dana Holgerson. Year 5 is usually when we a clear idea of what type of coach one is and if he warrants faith for the future. The past 3 weeks have shown we can do much better.

I know, I know I was high on praise before the season for both Dana and Skyler. Call it wishful thinking and giving a guy a fair shake.

BUT THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDIN. HE ISN'T A GOOD HEAD COACH.

Rich Rod as HC + Tony Gibson as DC (no more Casteel) is, frankly, our best and most realistic shot to win a National Championship. How much more talent can we waste with 7-6 seasons????

what makes you think RR would be interested in keeping Gibby around?

Don't let the inflated Baylor and OU scores fool you. The defense had MORE than enough stops in both games for us to win. Offense turning the ball over and giving up great field position was more to blame than the defense.

This defense has gotten better every year and with a healthy Karl Joseph, we were VERY good.

Even if RR gets fired at Arizona, I doubt that he is willing to become the head coach at Marshall.

who recruited Karl Joseph and those players?

Does the title of this thread have anything to do with what was typed in the opening post.
