Which wins? The 14th Amendment or Trump's birthright EO?

Originally worded the way it was so that slaves would inherit citizenship, the 14th has been abused by immigration to this point. Quite the quandary for me. I want Trump's EO to win. However, as an originalist, the amendment's meaning is the meaning.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I believe that the Supreme Court has already ruled on this a while back, saying the 14th is what is says.

I think it was a good effort. I also think it will fail. Without another amendment, we won't be able to change what is written.

I think the H1B OE does what I need it to for the time being, but the next Democrat president will change the behavior of the executive, and we're doing the dance all over again.

We need some laws and amendments passed.

We know the 14th amendment had to do with slaves not illegals crossing the borders. But as it is written if born here you are American. I don't believe it will pass the SC . Congress needs to take action.

Only a Constitutional Amendment can change the 14th. And that would take 2/3 vote in Congress, and 3/4 vote by the states. And that is not likely in my opinion.

I think that the SCOTUS will rule against Trump. But he still could kick out the parents if they are illegals.

Wonder how it plays out if your parents illegally crossed into the US and you were born here as a result of a felony?
I don't disagree with this thought . They are here illegally and come on there own to have a child ...come illegal pregnant. But the wording in the Constitution is what it is . It's a muddy mess .

The EO is going nowhere other than getting the conversation started and forcing the left to spend money trying to stop it.

Amendment wasn’t part of original constitution . Subject to the jurisdiction thereof is key.
