Its funny Punisheer. I said long before the season started that 9+ wins no excuses would be attainable in the Big 12 in 2016. While you made excuses why It couldn't happen. You where to much of a pussy to put your money where your mouth is.

we are currently enjoying a 6-0 start are best since 2006. I think time would be better spent enjoying the season and focusing on beating Oklahoma state and getting to 7-0. Our current success should be enjoyed by all. Now is not the time to create threads that can lead to division among the fan base. Im not that all familiar with you as a poster but if you're gonna start threads please make it about something positive. If you feel the need to call people out then please take this juvenile delinquent act somewhere else.
You have been awfully critical of Coach Holgorson on many occasions sometimes over the top in my opinion but in your defense I have seen you say on many occasions that a 9 win season would be achievable in 2016. You're right most the pro Dana crowd did make excuses for why that couldn't be. So any of them trying to take a swipe at you at the moment haven't a leg to stand on considering you where way ahead of the curve on the possibility of attaining 9 wins.
Not to speak for anyone but I always thought that the no excuses 9+ wins type of comments were more of a statement of demand or else. I never saw it in the context of the posters believing that it would actually happen or that it was a prediction of support.
For me, I'm just happy we are winning and the board has been calm for a while. We are in a good spot but a long way from having accomplished anything yet. Still a lot of tough games ahead.

I could not figure how this team would play this year. With the preseason injuries on D , I was apprehensive. I have to give Gibby and staff credit, as well as strength and conditioning.
I admit this is a welcomed and also surprising first half. I had a lot of concerns about the D. They sure proved me wrong and have been very proud of their tenacity. Speaks a ton for their character and commitment.

Well, since you called me out, I will certainly give you the respect of a response. All I have ever wanted is for WV to be the best program it could be. My stance on Holgorsen prior to this year is that Holgorsen had not done enough to show that he was a good head coach. I stand by that stance by the way. I admittedly said that I did not have a lot of hope things would get better, but also said that I hoped that I was wrong. I also said that any WVU fan should feel that way.
I personally could not be happier to say that I was wrong. And I hope at the end of the season I can eat as much crow as you can feed me, as it appears you are more concerned with doing that than you are celebrating our success. Again, any WVU fan should have wanted Holgorsen to be successful but they were not less of a fan for showing some doubt. I am flattered however, that with our team doing so well and with everything appearing as it is going in a great direction, I am what you are thinking about. I never said it couldnt be done. I said demanding 10-12 wins every year wasnt. In fact, i said we are a 7-9 win program that can occasionally compete for a Championship with 10+ wins.
Again, not sure why you felt the need to call me out, just want to make sure you have accurate information as you try to make an example of me.

Over shadowed by the pro Dana group saying we need to sign him to a $5 million year contract in the next week to keep Notre Dame, the Steelers, and the Carolina Panthers from signing to a 10 year guaranteed deal.

I spoke to my contact at LSU and Dana is really like number 6 to 8 on their list and your making it sound like they have real interest(he also said LSU fans will go into melt down mode if its Dana). Yes, Georgia went to their 6th option but it was someone from the hated Bama camp and that was sellable. Like agent is already having talks. lol. This is what I mean by pushing Dana's agenda.
Also, those rich southern guys want their coach duck hunting with them, hanging drinking bourbon, and playing golf. This is not Dana's thing and you even admitted to me in a recent post that you are aware the WVU administration knows he is not good with alumni.

If I knew this was Punisheer I would not even have responded. He has no interest in WVU winning as that is not his agenda. I was publically critical of how things were going under Holgorsen and said he had not shown he could actually run the entire program effectively. While I stand by that statement, I could not be more happy that it appears to this point in the season that he has turned things around and I actually like the taste of crow when it means the Mountaineers are winning. Whoever the original poster is, I obviously mean too much to him for me to be on his mind when our team is 6-0. And Punisheer absolutely made every excuse in the book as to why WVU could not consistently win over 7 games in the Big 12.
I was definitely a Dana doubter and am still not convinced he can have sustained success season to season, but I am surprised by this season so far and am in favor of extending his contract if WVU can avoid a complete collapse in the second half of the season. That being said, I doubt this team would be 6-0 in the 2014 or 2015 version of the Big XII. I also agree with other posters that a lot of the die hard Dana supporters were not arguing for WVU having this good of a season, but rather taking the stance that it was unrealistic for WVU to compete for a top 3 spot in the Big XII year in and year out.
Well, when we win 10 games you sir you will understand WVU can win 10 games or more.So not only do you have the inside scoop at WVU, but now you have sources at LSU.
