Not shocking but interesting. My son is taking summer classes and working at PSU and he waited on Coach Franklin and a couple of recruits over the weekend. He said that two recruits were having breakfast and one of the mothers asked Coach Franklin about pre-paid Visa cards. She said that another school has a program where the parents get pre-paid visa cards and they can use the money on whatever they want. Coach Franklin responded with telling the mother that PSU does not have such a program but they do have a lot programs to help her son succeed such as one on one tutoring, a academic staff that will schedule classes, etc. He said Franklin acted uneasy and tried to change the subject.

On a separate incident at PSU, my son said he was at Primanti Brothers a couple of weeks ago and a guy noticed Coach McQueary sitting at the bar. Said the guy went nuts and started yelling at him, calling him a pedophile and some other choice words. The guy McQueary was sitting with must have been the manager and threw the guy out. My son was sitting next him when this happened and the guy was buying beers for people around him and wanted to know about the PSU experience. He said he was from Michigan and was with there with his daughter for a volleyball camp.
