With the obvious exception of the W what will make you feel the most comfortable with this team? Improvement by Howard, improved O-line? What about the new receivers both their talent and timing with Howard?

On defense are you looking at how Barber looks and leads? The defensive line, can they get pressure and more importantly in this game can they stuff the run?

Is there anyone in Monongalia County that can field a punt?

College football is won and lost at the LOS, so I'll be looking there first.

Howard was overthrowing everybody in the Liberty Bowl (must have thought they were all Wes Lyons), so I'll be watching his accuracy.

We won't learn much about our secondary, I don't think.

Punt returns. As sad as it is, I don't care if we don't have any return yards as long as we can catch the damn thing.

It starts and ends with Skyler. If he doesn't play well we are in trouble. And yes we need to find a warm body to bring in the punts. lmao

I'll feel good if the D and O lines can be strong and dominate the line of scrimmage and on offense if we can move the ball consistently and be explosive when the opportunity presents.

I say Skyler! I dont think we'll get a full guage reading on either sides of the line (atleast i hope not), but i wanna see what r qb is gonna bring to the table! And i hope its a full plate of accuracy!

Offensive line. We have to get back to being strong on the ground, especially goal line and 3rd and 4th down situations. That makes all skill position players better.

A cute blonde female cheerleader!

delectable cheerleaders aside, what I'd like to see from the WVU footballers

a) zero offensive turnovers
b) more than 3 yards per punt return

Line play on both sides of the ball. It will be the key if the D is going to be better...not sold on any of them based on the past. I think our LBers are average and deep backs good. A stronger line will make the LBs look better and the same with the deep backs. O-line, we have the running backs they just need some holes. I got the feeling they will be good.

QB. Not sold on the fact that he doesn't turn it over. In the games he's played he been damn lucky that those high ones haven't been picked...he could have had a handful in the Ta&m game. He was still high in the spring game. He's got to hit a higher % of his passes and hit the deep ball. His legs will be a big addition to the O.

WR. Looks like we have a lot of talent, can they do it on Saturdays?

Return game. Nuff said

Kicking game. Solid with Josh, just hope he doesn't have to try as many FGs. 'stash, if he shanks the 1st one...1 and done. KO, I thought we were solid last year. Hopefully the new guy can get it high and deep. Snapper and holder have been very solid.

Coaching. Needs to keep getting better. I like how Dana handled the O last year, slowed it down a little and it ran smoother.

It starts and ends with Holgs! If he can 1.) keep his nose out of the Red Bull, 2.) keep from having a bad hair day and 3.) eat at least ten jars of the pickles that I ordered Torontoeers to send him..............I will be happy. So will all WV fans.

Skyler is the key to this season. If he plays well I'll be happy. With a win of course

defense:

no concerns, and barber being back is a big plus

offense, and in this order:

1. dana's decision making must improve. he has to lean on this defense a bit
2. we have to run the ball well (as we all expect with the line and running backs)
3. can skyler see over the line well enough to see these smallish receivers,

That...and DH needs to keep improving on his game day decision making (large strides last season...but still some farts)....

My only concern is O-Line. I feel like anything else we can fix or get better at. If the O-Line cant protect Sky and open running lanes Saturday night against this team. Then they probably wont all season.......Second is Special Teams I need to see improvment in the Punt Return to feel optimistic about this season.

One other thing..... Im gonna be looking for Saturday night is to see if certain people on here improve on their decision making.

I took this picture last week ole' Warez...right after Dana had the 2015 version of OUR pickle prowess..
Mr. Howard....get these young lads the ball in a catchable situation, and Mr. Shorts, please show your experience even though being shifted to the outside...and all will be good...
