my question is why was he in Tallahasee in the middle of the semester. Maybe he was still begging Jimbo to let him back in the program
He hadn't been on the team since sometime in September and wasn't enrolled in school. There wasn't any kind of announcement that I'm aware of, but at the time of this incident he was clearly no longer with the team.
In other words, a troubled kid was already dismissed and gets in trouble again, and Herd fans make the stretch to say it reflects badly on WVU.
It certainly does reflect badly on WVU, you recruited and signed a kid that nobody, not even Doc "Second-Chance" Holliday would even touch.
You even had his mentor on staff and did everything possible to make sure his was eligible and enrolled this year
Every program signs a troubled kid or two, but what do you do if they don't straighten up?
Other schools cut ties, and then Marshall scoops them up.

He wasn't dismissed, he was never eligible and the WVU coaches had a 10 day window to over rule his ruling. Sounds like to me another one of Dana's lying jobs in recruiting. And if it was 10 years ago. He would have been a prop like the majority of WVU's greatest players the last 30 years
