--West Virginia head coach Neal Brown said that the Texas Tech game was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Special teams they did some good things, but nothing to win the game. Offense was a poor performance and didn't play good enough at any position. The three keys were turnovers, rushing and ability to score in the red zone and they didn't do any of those. They didn't win versus man coverage and couldn't run the football. Defensively they just made it too easy on the quarterback with the quick game and they were slow to fit on the run. They were able to get in a lot of third and fourth and shorts and stay on the field. They were tempoing and they were able to get lined up but they didn't do a good job tackling and made it too easy on the quarterback. It wasn't good enough and they're back to work. Brown refuses to accept that's who they are as a football team. Failure is temporary unless you accept it and they refuse to accept it. They have a great opportunity this week with the No. 1 team in the Big 12 coming in here.

--Sonny Dykes coached Neal Brown while he was at Kentucky. He has done a good job at TCU by taking a lot of the same pieces and turning it around. Offensively, a lot of the same people they have played. Max Duggan is playing at an extremely high level and is a dual threat that is fast but very strong. His accuracy has really improved. Kendre Miller at running back is showing what he can do and he is a factor in the receiving game as well. He is over 220-pounds. Quentin Johnson at wide receiver is as talented as anybody in the league. They have to know where he is at. The offensive line has a lot of continuity and they have played a lot of football. Defensively they have a different look and they have come in and done a really good job. Three-down front and from an alignment and assignment defense it is simple for them but complicated to play against. They do a good job of mixing up looks and they're a really good unit. Special teams they haven't had any punts returned all year and Derrius Davis might be the best in the league at returning punts and kicks. It's a challenge for sure, but they will be better.

--Wyatt Milum they'll see how it goes but they feel good about him playing. Tony Mathis will be out, Justin Johnson they'll see how it goes. James Gmiter will be out. Charles Woods will practice today and he'll be available and they are hoping that he can play a few more plays. Rashad Ajayi will be out and Wesley McCormick they are hoping to get back. Lance Dixon will be out this week.

--James Gmiter got injured right at the end of the Baylor game and they'll see how he does after this week.

--Travel roster they had to carry another offensive linemen so they brought one extra. In the defensive back field they had wait and see game-time decisions and they normally take four running backs but they had pieces at defensive back and defensive line that were injured and didn't know if they would play.

--Jaylen Anderson will be up this week and it's a great opportunity. CJ Donaldson will start and they will try to get Justin Johnson ready but if he can't Anderson will be called upon.

--It's about next. When you try to put it in a real perspective, and if you're looking at things that are going bad this is easily fixable compared to some other things. It's about how you played the game. What did the video look like and it has to as a team represent who they want to be. It has to do with an individual choice and they have to play and coach better.

--Brown doesn't think they ran to the ball on defense in the fourth quarter. They did a good job hanging in during the first half. They didn't chase the ball as well as they needed to but some of it was they got consumed on some blocks based on who they got in there. You try to do more to make a play and it makes it worse because you get out of your gap and your eye discipline was bad. The effort wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough.

--If you don't play well against TCU you're going to get embarrassed. The Horned Frogs have show resiliency and they are 7-0 if that doesn't get your juices going then you're doing the wrong thing.

--Brown said they just didn't play as well as they needed to in the second half. He has no idea what Pat McAfee said prior to the game.

--Last two road performances have been poor. Texas and Texas Tech are good on offense and they both hit them with quite a bit of passing yardage. From an offensive standpoint, they just didn't play well and for them this year can they establish the run. And they have to be able to make that happen.

--West Virginia just has to play better. He can deal with outcomes and if Texas Tech beat them and they are capable of how they're playing happens, but they aren't going to put something like that on video. That just isn't acceptable.

--JT Daniels has to bounce back and he didn't play as well as he needs to play. All three of those interceptions were one-on-ones and West Virginia has to be able to make those plays or break it up. The Mountaineers wide receiver unit and the team as a whole has to be more consistent.

--It's all different and the players know that. West Virginia will be confident going into the game. The mentality is different for older people and younger athletes. He has full belief that they will play a lot better.

--Nobody is talking about Miller as much as he deserves. He is a really hard tackle and he wears you down.

--TCU is on a special run and when you do that it's because you're able to stay healthy.

--Texas Tech had really struggled defending the screen game going into the game. They felt like they were going to pressure and play man and they just didn't do a good enough job but they were really close. People don't want to hear that, but it's true. They had some big ones against Baylor in some blitz looks and it's something they believe in and Texas Tech had struggled in those situations but they just didn't execute.

--West Virginia can't make this an easy catch-throw when TCU has the ball. You can't give them layups to allow them to get into a rhythm and make it harder on the quarter

Tl;dr. Why listen to a single thing he has to say when the results on the field clearly show he does not know what he is talking about? Every presser should just be one question. "Coach Brown are you going to resign or continue damaging the football program until you are fired?"

I just want someone to ask him to evaluate his performance since coming to WVU and to grade himself. I mean let’s get some “juice” in these pressers boys! You used to go after Dana, Bill, Oliver and Rich Rod. Where is the juice!!! LOL

The only questions that needs asked.

Do you feel like you have earned a full buy out if you get fired? if no, then what do you feel you deserve? If yes, please tell us based on what data?
