--West Virginia head coach Neal Brown wanted to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all involved. Huge challenge this week with Oklahoma coming into town as they are playing their best football. Specialists are very good. They have threats at the return positions and they have to be prepared. Defensively they are playing their best football and the front four really stands out. Their secondary is improving. Schematically they do a great job on offense and you’ve seen the improvement out of quarterback Spencer Rattler. They also do a great job with their tight ends and h-backs. Oklahoma has been the standard in the league and he’s looking forward to a night game, his first here.

--Wednesday night at position coaches house and Thursday is a big team group under normal circumstances, but that will be different this year. They will have a traditional meal Thursday after practice but will be taking obvious precautions.

--Both quarterbacks in this game have been making great decision with the ball in their hands.

--West Virginia is more rested heading out of the bye week. They got in a little Oklahoma work last week but really used it to clear their minds.

--Brown believes there is something about playing at night that gets your adrenaline pumping.

--Oklahoma can score quickly and you’re aware how fast they start so you try to prepare for that but you don’t make it a big deal to the players.

--Mims from Oklahoma makes contested catches at the best rate in the league.

--Leddie Brown feels good and will practice in full strength. He feels better after the bye.

--Rattler is more comfortable and playing within the system. He has grown and learned a lot and played extremely well the last month.

--West Virginia will have more mid-year recruits this year than before. Expect double digits.
