--West Virginia head coach Josh Eilert said they spent a lot of time in the film room and in the trenches with what they need to fix. His team responded in a good way and the approach and enthusiasm was good with how they transitioned from that loss. It wasn't a perfect game, but it was a buy in game from everybody and figured out a way to win.

--The decision to start Ofri Naveh was an analytical decision and how to correct the rotations. He also gave them defensive rebounding. But they need Seth Wilson to bring that spark off the bench. That was one piece they tried to play to see if it worked.
--West Virginia got a lot of good looks but they just weren't falling against Monmouth. They saved a lot of legs with the zone and they kept them fresh and were downhill. They've kept it pretty simple with the zone.

--The idea was to get Jesse Edwards the ball as much as possible he only had 6 field goal attempts but he drew 10 fouls. They want to play through Edwards in order to get better looks.

--Kobe Johnson has always been steady. You knew you could count on him but you had to get more aggression out of him. But for him to get that confidence.

--If they can rest Jesse Edwards and Quinn Slazinski it's great for this team.

--Josiah Harris was 4-7 and +10 and he's been rebounding as much as anybody. Loves his effort and enthusiasm and he's a joy to coach.

--Eilert said his team was close, but he basically challenged them by saying it didn't look like they liked each other on the floor.

--Kobe Johnson gives you some things that Kerr Kriisa might not. He is steady and won't try to force things and take advantage of his size and strength.

--The spacing was better but the timing was a little off. They need to utilize a little more of the pressure release.

--To have the balance they had tonight with rebounding was something that they want to see. The best offense is the ball going in the hole, not offensive rebounding it and putting it back.

--The 2-3 zone could be a staple and nothing is off the table when you're trying to win games.
