--West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins said he felt his team had stretches where they played well and when they didn’t play well. They need to learn how to close out teams.
--Huggins said he is excited to go home. They’ve only played two games on the road, but it seems like a lot more to practice in between so it’s good to get home and sleep in your own bed.
--This team relies on Sean McNeil at times and when he struggles, they rely on Taz Sherman. They’ve got a bunch of minutes today from Jordan McCabe trying to get Deuce McBride off the ball, so he didn’t have to spend so much time on the ball getting pressured.
--Huggins said that when they double Culver he has to slow down and find the open guy because they have a lot of players that can make shots.
--Derek Culver and Gabe Osabuohien wants to win. So, they do offense and defensive substitutions at the end of the game and those guys don’t care.
--The players are happy to go home and play in the Coliseum in front of some home crowds. Some of the crowds are good at heckling them so it’s nice to go home and have people cheering for you. Huggins doesn’t know if it matters playing that many games in seven days, but he does wonder how it will affect them the next week and then the week after that.

He thought they had it fixed a little bit at the foul line but it’s like anything else when you get away from it, you’re not as good as you left. He hasn’t put the time in that he did when he was shooting the ball well from the line.
