GAME THREAD West Virginia football at Texas Tech

Neil Brown just said he has a bunch of people hurt. "Bad football he said we got a bunch of people hurt." He's already making excuses because that's all he knows how to do when a microphone goes in front of his face. This dude is not a leader.

Look what happens when WVU plays a team with a winning record. Just like last year, we are going to end the season with our only FBS wins, which will be 5, against teams that finish 6-6 at best. Nothing has changed in 4 years and this year is not worse than last year. Just the schedule was not as favorable as anyone with eyes could see when message board warriors were praising WVU's 8-4 record.

Interpretation I've been fired.
You could hear it in his voice. At this point I think he will have no problem renegotiating his buyout. He doesn't want to be here just about as much as we don't want him here. He's a sensitive guy and he wants out I have no doubt.

Fire him immediately.

Hire somebody who in his first press conference says, "No more excuses. We don't make excuses here. Excuses are for losers. We're going to win and win big. We're going to recruit big, physical and fast guys. We're going to take pride in playing defense. No more two-hand touch defense. No more zig-zag motion on offense. We're going to establish an indentity in the first season, recruit to that identity and make you stop us, if you can. And, by the way, East Shit Pitt."

This is the worst case scenario for wvu. We really needed Brown to work out after Lyons put all his chips in that basket. We are in a terrible financial position thanks to Shayne and Gee, but it could be much worse if we keep Brown. The best case scenario is that the big donors step up, Brown renegotiates and lowers the buyout, and WVU hires somebody who excites the fan base enough to get people pumped and putting money back into the program. This is a tough situation

You can't reward failure. Clown Brown has has more than half a decade to prove he can do the job. He has failed at almost every turn. He has to go. He's burning down the house.

I agree for sure. He has to go.

And another TD by TT. Brown should resign in his PC.

I feel like I should have to pay some money to watch this offensive and defensive clinic TT is putting on today.

He was already rewarded twice. One time cost an athletic director their job. I don’t think Wren is untouchable, however our current basketball success helps.

After six years with Clown Brown, this performance shows there is no pride left within the program. This is the worst effort I've ever seen from an entire WVU team. You can't even call it an effort. This team has quit, which is what Clown Brown should do.

I'm looking on offense, and appears to me that all our regulars are out there. And we have 3 points. He's blaming the defense, as usual. Not his side of the ball.

Brown should really step down after this game. How much of this can he even take? He obviously can't handle the pressure at all. It's ridiculous to keep this going at this point, on his side of things as well.
