West Virginia Award Winners for the Texas Game
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (November 16, 2015) – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performances in the Mountaineers’ 38-20 win against Texas on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Offensive Champion – Elijah Wellman; Defensive Champion – Jared Barber; Nick Kwiatkoski; Special Teams Champion – Nana Kyeremeh; Offensive Scout Champion – Ricky Rogers; Defensive Scout Champion – Xavier Pegues.
The Mountaineers travel to Lawrence, Kansas, to face the Jayhawks on Saturday, November 21, at noon, ET, before coming home to play host to Iowa State on Saturday, November 28, at noon, ET.
The Kansas game will be televised on FSN, including locally on ROOT Sports, and the Iowa State game will be on FS1.
The matchup with the Cyclones will be “Senior Day” as presented by US Cellular, as the 2015 Mountaineer senior members of the football team will be honored. All fans are encouraged to come out and honor these players in their final home game to wear the Gold and Blue.
