West Virginia Award Winners for the BYU Game
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (September 25, 2016) – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performances in the Mountaineers 35-32 win against BYU at FedExField in Landover, Md., on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Offensive Champion – Shelton Gibson; Defensive Champion – Maurice Fleming; Special Teams Champion – Nick Meadows; Offensive Scout Champion – Brendan Willis; Defensive Scout Champion – Osman Kamara.
Tickets for the Homecoming matchup presented by Staples can be ordered online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME.
This game also is the annual “Stripe the Stadium” promotion. Fans sitting in even-numbered sections (Sec. 102, 104, 202, 204 etc.), Touchdown Terrace and WVU students seated in the upper level student sections are encouraged to wear Gold.
Fans sitting in odd-numbered sections (Sec. 101, 103, 201, 203, etc.) and WVU students seated in the lower level student sections are encouraged to wear Blue.
