Terrible ending. Stupid foul, turnovers, missed free throws and nobody taking the shot. U G L Y
Quite a bit of the team coming back. Need a shooter
Can we now start talking about Football? Did you boys call 1-800-The Herd yet?
Not protecting your defensive glass killed y'all in the End. This is a flaw in the Beilein system, but there is a lot to like about his system, too.3 games where each team had a shot at the end to win or in WVU's case tie. I didn't watch any of the WVU game, except for a couple of minutes during halftime of Michigan game, and brief moments during time outs. Thought Michigan was going to pull that out, despite not getting a good effort out of the German. It wasn't meant to be though.

He had to make a choice, and chose to go small for the last 8 minutes or so. Seemed to work, but in the end, a couple of bad plays by D.J. Wison really hurt down the stretch. Missed an easy inside shot, and inexcusably didn't box out on that free throw. That was a big game changer down the stretch, but still had a shot at the end to win. I was actually surprised Oregon didn't continue to foul, but perhaps Altman was playing to their psychic, thinking Michigan was expecting to get fouled as opposed to preparing to make a play. Not protecting your defensive glass killed y'all in the End. You guys had a great season, it's a damn shame the best Huggins could do at the end was dribble the clock out for over 30 seconds.
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, then we'd all have a very Merry Christmas. If your aunt had balls, then she'd be your uncle. WVU shot 72% from the charity stripe, which is better than its season average. No timeouts left to run anything ... terrible possession
But if Miles makes those free throws we're having a different discussion today.
FT shooting has cost us a lot of games this year, and it cost us again yesterday.
That phone number causes panic attacks in Morgantown....I don't look for them to dial that number anytime in the near future!3 games where each team had a shot at the end to win or in WVU's case tie. I was actually wondering if the '1-800-The Herd' was confusing them. Do you think it would help if we were to type out the actual numbers for them? The cousins aren't the brightest, you know...That phone number causes panic attacks in Morgantown....I don't look for them to dial that number anytime in the near future!
We could type out the numbers and pay for the call but it would help....maybe a backbone/ gonad transplant would aid in the establishment of that tilt. I wouldn't resent the pop tax so much if that occurred!I was actually wondering if the '1-800-The Herd' was confusing them. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, Ohio State would have made the dance.
