Well

As a Mountaineer fan you expect them to rip your hearts out at some point in the season. Tonight's game went well beyond that. Dana and the boys embarrassed themselves on national television.

Bring on basketball season.

I'm not surprised that we lost the game, I thought all along that their two running backs and a heisman candidate QB were too much for our D. What does surprise me is all the mistakes and the way our players reacted in the first half with the cheap penalties. Might have been a different game without those two goal line fumbles......... . Oklahoma scoring another TD with 27 seconds left in the game makes me hope that OK State wins Bedlam.

I don't know if you can take that personal though. They were probably trying to get as many style points for the CFP committee. It's funny, they either decreased the weight of or eliminated MOV from the BCS (I think it was eliminated) but then now it's back because of human bias.

I am not upset at Oklahoma. I am upset that we turned the ball over twice in the redzone and extended 2 OU td drives with miscues basically eliminating any chance of making it a game.

It's not like West Virginia's defense didn't know who was going to get he ball. The only mystery was which side of center was the play going to go to. That took them all the way down to the goal line. The QB made the right call (read) and walked in.

Your boys are beating the shit out of themselves

Minus the turnovers, the game went about as I expected it would. We had trouble stopping their run game, but were also able to move the ball with ease against them. Barring turnovers, I thought our defense would be just good enough to get more stops against their offense than their defense would against our offense.

Turnovers are the X factor in any game and we totally blew it there.

So, Oklahoma scored 27 points on WVU's turnovers, and WVU scored seven points on Oklahoma's turnover. Guess what? WVU still would have lost even if there hadn't been any turnovers. The loss just wouldn't have been as ugly as it was. Oklahoma had scoring drives of 65, 77, 78, 96, and 97 yards against WVU's mighty defense, and took its foot of of the gas in the Second Half until WVU cut the lead to 13 points.

I'm just glad B1G and MAC conference teams don't have any issues with the big, bad Big 12 member institutions.

It would be hysterical, if the team crowned Big 12 Champion had lost to Central Michigan.

Just think, if the Big 12 had their conference championship game in play this year, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State would be playing one another on consecutive weekends.

And, what sense does that make? The Big 12 is so desperate to have that extra game to impress the Playoff Committee that it has resorted to lunacy. If they split the two games, then they'd both be out of the Playoff Picture.
