One of the key additions to Wisconsin’s Class of 2015 has met a road block on his way to Madison. Jordan Stevenson has reportedly been denied admission to the University of Wisconsin, but there may still be a door open elsewhere to play this season. In fact, there could be many doors open for Stevenson.

Stevenson’s admissions issue at Wisconsin wasreported by Badgers Blitz on Thursday. Stevenson took to Twitter on Friday to announce his recruitment is officially open to any Division 1 program with a roster spot available for the 2015 season. Apparently that message reached a few schools from across the nation. 247 Sports reports there are at least 13 programs with interestin adding Stevenson to their respective programs. Those schools with expressed interest are (in alphabetical order) Alabama, Florida, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, SMU, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

This could be a rushed recruitment process for Stevenson, and understandably so. Fall camps will be starting up in the next couple of weeks for most programs, and being there for day one of practices would be good for Stevenson as he gets set to begin his collegiate football career after this bump in the road.

Stevenson, a native of Dallas, Texas, was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2015according to his Rivals profile.
