Already after 8:00am. and no announcement. Come on Wren, grab a to-go cup and get to the podium lol.
Not that they’re asking for my advice but if they decide not to fire Brown, then you have to somehow find a good defensive coordinator who will come with a head coach on the hot seat and, just as important, take offensive playcalling completely off the table for Brown, permanently. I never want to see another tight end screen again. I never want to see wide receiver screens where we can’t block or have the numbers advantage. Finally, I never want to see Jet Sweeps or gadget plays featuring players who otherwise have zero snaps a game. A second grader can diagnose our offense. Finally, the strength and conditioning staff needs to be put on notice. If we had any year over year player development, this team should have been more successful.
I was also hoping for a press conference this morning. Doesn’t look good.
I wish they would have fired his whole staff after year 4. I mean it's pathetic to have a head coach that sucks so bad he has to have his staff picked by other people, but after they ran Vic out the whole thing became much worse and there was just no pulse. I believe he was the biggest reason Brown succeeded at Troy along with low competition.
The biggest problem with Neil Brown is not his assistant coaches though it's his mindset. I don't know if they archive the Neil Brown Show and all of his Monday press conferences but I challenge anybody to go back and listen to those going back all six years and tell me if this man sounds like a winner at all? He's a loser. His coaching philosophy is weak and it will never win because he doesn't care about winning lol. I've been saying this for 3 years because i have listened to the man tell me so. I ruffled a lot of feathers trying to get people to see this lol. Brown is weak and has to go. There is no other path forward that will fix this crap short of moving to the MAC.
