Weird now that you all agree with me. But it feels like its finally...

I admit that I was against a change until after last night. Not that I was convinced DH was a good coach- but that I thought a change would set the program back. But, last night demonstrated that the state of the program is already at such a low level that that isn't an issue. Anyone being objective can't defend him. The fact that the failures are so widespread means it simply is not a "lack of player execution" or "we just played tough teams" excuse. When you have such a total breakdown on all facets and it's a continuing problem, (not just losing but how we self-destruct each game), then it's time for the coach to go. He can finish the year out, I hope we win out (doubt it but I hope), but Lyons needs to be evaluating his hire list. DH had 5 years. We're worse now than year 1 in the B12. It's time. Just do it.

I don't agree with Paper on some things..but I have said for several years now that Dana just isn't a quality Div 1 head coach and he isn't getting any better with time.
