My gut feeling - KSU 30 WVU 24

Snyder just seems to have our number and we struggle in the red zone at times. I hope I'm wrong...

Marshall 35 Pitt 30

Just a wild guess based on the assumption Litton is back, and maybe a little wishful thinking. I haven't really seen enough of either team but I've heard Pitt has big time pass coverage problems.

Special teams ... if we can just not give up special teams TD's, I think we get this one.

Last year they beat us 24-23 and had a KO and a punt return for TD's

The year before was less than a TD difference in score and they had a KO return for a TD.

It may have been roughly the same the year before too.

It seems like offense/defense, we play even or better, but then give up ST scores that make the difference.

Marshall/Pitt
Hope Marshall wins, but Pitt can score and Marshall has given up 65 to Akron and 59 to UL. Can Marshall score enough to make up for their defense? I'm not sure.
I'm going 31-24 Pitt, and hope I'm wrong.

I was listening to Caridi on SWSL a couple of evenings ago and I think he summed it up pretty well in saying that Snyder's teams don't do anything fancy, they just play good fundamental football and wait for you to make mistakes. Then they take advantage of it and beat you because of it. Our special teams are still suffering, we're not that good at turning red zone possessions into TD's........that's why I think KSU beats us yet again. And as I said earlier, I hope I'm wrong.

WVU finally gets over the hump with KSU 33-30
Marshall beats Pitt 47-45 on a last second field goal
For one day only the board regulars get together and sing Kumbaya

I hope you're right on the first two points.........not so sure how long that Kumbaya thing will last though.

Don't think KSU has enough offensive firepower to beat the Mounties in Morgantown. They are hardnosed and well coached but can't see them winning this tilt. WVU 31 KSU 21. As for the Herd our ridiculously young secondary will again be under air attack and will struggle although we'll score some points ourselves and will make a game of it. Pitt 42 MU 28.
