Just got off the phone with Lamont West. He informs me he has committed to play for West Virginia and he will actually sign on Saturday. On his visit, West told me he really like Morgantown and that WVU was like NBA team of the area. He also says some of the players helped him make his decision. He knew Devin Williams and played against Esa Ahmad in AAU ball. West is excited to play within the press defense and feels his style of defense fits exactly what Bob Huggins wants to do.
