Devin is on a mission to dominate this year. He is the focal point of this team.

Teyvon is not going to play much, if at all, in the tougher games.

We still don't have a role for which Adrian can contribute. He's really a casualty of the pressing style.

We need Watkins to make a serious run at the FF. Watkins gives us a solid 9 man rotation and his defense and length add value.

Afraid you are correct re Teyvon. However I would like to see more of him. Could have something special by March.

Watkins needs to play tomorrow.

Watkins may not play this year. You do realize he had acl surgery In apr.

Man you guys are tall and big poor Richman I think they just wore out. WVU The Big 12 better take note your team is for real, this, basketball people be saying fear WVU PRESS! GREAT WIN

I just want to note that Teyvon played a lot tonight and played well in areas that dont show up on the stat sheet

He was known as a Gunner..... A high-shot count guy

And tonight he had the ball multiple times in places on the court where he could have put up shots.... And probably would have a year ago.... But he KNOWS his role here and it isnt as a scorer right now.

Passing up questionable shots to keep moving the ball for great shots (inside to Devon) is a valuable attribute that Myers demonstrated tonight

Extremely unselfish for the nation's leading JUCO scorer

As far as OP's opinions on Adrian.... He was wrong last year and he will be wrong this year too

I learned that we're basically the same team as last year - we have a hard time scoring in the halfcourt and from 3. If they don't turn the opponent over a good bit, they're going to lose. Still...I think this team's easily going to top last year's win total.

Myers plays good defense so he'll see playing time. His offense will improve as the year goes on. Remember that he didn't get to practice with team during Summer or go to Bahamas trip. He was a late arrival. He's a high energy guy who will contribute this year and will break out next year after a full season + offseason under Huggins. Also, as you can tell by his personality when he's on the bench, he's a team player. He's a cheerleader on the bench, a high positive energy guy who is probably a great locker room presence and a guy you want on your team as you know he'll have your back.

teyvon will play this year in the rotation.....he will get more acclimated as he goes.....he works on d and he is quick.....and you can always use another shooter who also adds depth to a relentless pressing team.....and.....he can shoot free throws, always valuable at the end.....think wvu will be a very tough out this year.....ahmad is only going to get better, as will myers and macon.....this team is deep.....and as talented as a wvu team imo since 2009-10.....honestly, think how good this team can be if macon keeps advancing.....to say nothing of ahmad and myers and paige.....who i look to have a good year......

Huggins has said publicly that Brandon is going to get back into the rotation this year. Not sure what the timetable is, but I'm betting we see him before the end of the year. Adrian will be OK but he needs to keep his slow feet from compounding his weakness with fouls. When his man beats him on the press with a strong dribble he needs to break contact and get up court and get ahead of his man, Myles does the same thing. Way too many fouls called by body contact when the ball handler gets past a WVU player at mid court. Adrian does this a lot, Myles does it a lot. Officials aren't going to stop calling it.

Adrian makes some nice passes, gets some good rebounds. His 3 pointer is still not falling, but that is never going to be a first option.

I was around the team quite a bit this weekend. I can tell you that Treyvon is really loved by his teammates. He has great personality and really keeps the team loose and laughing. Very positive team oriented guy. He is really playing smart as well. It is clear that he wants to play and is willing to do whAtever it takes to stay out of Huggs doghouse. He has great quickness and elevation. Once he becomes more confident with Huggs system, I think he will show that he is the one guy that can break his defender down and get to the basket. Love his attitude.

If two things happen...1. Macon or Watkins provide quality minutes consistently. 2 Teyvon becomes a consistent double digit scorer. This WVU team can make a run at the Big12 championship and a deep run in March. This is a quality team without those two things happening, but if they do happen everyone better watch out for WVU.

I watched WVU vs Richmond last night,

First off congrats on the win. Williams down low wow what a Beast, your team plays with no give up. One thing is I noticed in the half court they stood around and not moving and it seemed Richmond was in zone, WVU next game SDSU is will be a big mismatch down low and this team od SDSU is not use to WVU trapping style I feel WVU will win this because the SDSU basketball is tired good luck tonight.
As a LSU fan it is a sad for us in Tiger Nation Les Miles is gone he was what made LSU after Nick Saban left. Anyways good luck to WVU
