it is definitely tougher than what we will face in our first 3 tournament games. but each game is about the match ups - not the seeding

I agree that ISU has a chance to beat OU. They match up decently with OU and if OU is not on point with shooting, the cyclones could win. TTU should be TCU, but that isn't a shoe in either.

Looks like OU-ISU split two close ones. ISU is due for a big win and is the defending BXII tournament champs.

That said, assuming we advance past let's call it Texas Tech in the quarterfinal, I'd rather have another crack at Oklahoma.

Beat the Sooners and we take their 2 seed for the NCAAs, in my opinion. We finished a game ahead of OU in the standings and if we can beat them next week, we'd finish with at least one more W including a most recent head-to-head W on a neutral court.

No matter what would happen in the championship game, we'd then have 26 wins, 10 wins vs RPI Top 50. Monster resume. Don't see how 2nd place BXII team and 2nd place BXII tournament team does not equal No. 2 seed in the Big Dance.

With Miami losing at VT, that opens a possibility of another team bumping off the 2 line as well, but we could have a directly controllable scenario to take a 2 seed ourselves.
