Let's just finish in the top four of the Big 12 tourney (a single win) before seriously considering our team a Final Four national title contender.

Any team in the tournament is capable of losing to another team, no matter the seed. You're not stating anything profound.
Every 2/3 seed that ever played in the tournament was capable of losing to their opponent.
In 2014, Duke had the potential to make the final 4...instead they lost to Mercer. That was a 3/14 match up.

I never make tournament predictions. I've been filling out brackets for over two decades and I'm never right.
I look at who has NBA Draft picks, who has seniors and who won their conference tournament.

But this team really "should" be a Sweet 16 team. And once in the S16 only one (1!) win puts you in the Elite 8. And then only one more win puts you in the F4.
Anything can happen and this team has as a good a chance at the F4 as some other pretty good teams.
Should be fun to watch.
