Howard can't be that careless with the ball. You can't do it and win.

The Special teams needs to learn don't catch/field a punt Willie Mays over the shoulder style inside the 5 yd line & try and return it.. Let it hit the ground and take the more than likely touchback with the ball in the end zone. Also don't try running side to side on punts & kickoffs either cause it's just an opportunity for a penalty. Make one cut and go.

As for next week, if we don't turn the ball over, I think we will win. We are healthy and okay there. Home field will be an advantage.

Put it this way. If Holgorsen loses to every school on our schedule who pays their head coach more than we do, WVU would end up with a record of 7-5 this year. And there are two additional Big 12 coaches with salaries almost the same as what we pay leaving only Kansas and Iowa State as conference schools who pay less than we do ( check out their records ). Our last coach was paid a Big East salary and played a Big East conference schedule - there is a big difference in the level of competition.

WVU has difficult circumstances. This is a very tough conference. Older members may remember the talented 92 team that was 5-4-2. That was against a brutal schedule. WVU is now playing that kind of competition every year. If this was the old big east this would be a 10-2 season.

The team is better, and Dana needs to be given credit but the QB play continues to be an issue. Is it recruiting? Is it playing calling? For all of the Dana lovers or haters I really think we will see the true Dana as a HC as the season plays out this year. The sad thing is he is showing improved coaching but I almost feel like he needs to go work under a Nick Saban a few years and then come back as a Head Coach but at that point he is head coach some place else.

Well said...but in that statement you make no mention that OKLAHOMA is also a solid team....with I'm sorry to say, superior athletes almost across the board. OU executed their game plan fairly well and they made those stops from scouting.

I get the sarcasm, but sadly WV ran into a team (for the first time this season) that has better talent.

WV has some incredible athletes, but I will go ahead and say that Joseph is my version of some other team's views of Eric Striker. Joseph is a thug, he is dirty, and he's lucky I wasn't reffing that game for that hit on Westbrook. It looked intentional, malicious, and he should've been ejected if not suspended for further games.
