We should've beaten Texas by more if not for the refs.
Watching Texas beat Georgia only reminds us how good we were but underachieved in the end

gotta find somebody. if allison wasn't ready after 2 years in the program, he's not going to be after 3 weeks of spring practice.
If the refs wanted Texas to win they would had won.
But....WV was a good team this year.
I don't know if they get back to that point any time soon.
Texas is a Top 5 team next year and a CFP favorite...
Don't know how WV will look next year so you must be trying to troll.
Texas will win national title next year. Herman is the next Nick Saban dynasty. Texas is the next Alabama. Georgia is improved under Kirby but outside of Alabama the SEC is overhyped.
Big 12 has Oklahoma and Texas. It’s a big monster, big money conference. Oklahoma will be in Final 4 playoff next year with Texas. 2 from Big 12.

They are bringing in an elite QB and a few elite WRs.
But they lose a lot on their OLine.
Don't know who their DC will be.
Supposedly Gene Chizik would hitchhike his way to Norman.
Truthfully think they should get someone who is well verse on the current game.
With all this I think Oklahoma can go back to being a 10-2 team.
I wouldn't say they are a legit CFP next year.

#46 Joseph Ossai played probably 25+ snaps on defense.
Caden Stern's didn't play because of injury but he is a future Thorpe Winner.
Seen a lot of great safties come through Austin.
BJ Foster and Caden Sterns are up there with the top ones.
But defense is not the issue.
Their issue is OLine.
They have dogs coming in this year's recruiting class and the next two

They need the OLine to take another major leap again.

Good college QB but not a difference maker.
LSU proved it and Texas did again .
You force UGA into third and long and Fromm can't make the plays.
Kirby is a good coach but his weakness is his love and loyalty to the slow pocket passers. Kind of like Dana in that regard. Kirby is a old southern boy that wants a certain QB if you know what I mean. That’s why Fields is transferring. Fromm is overatted stiff. He misses throws too. Not a good runner. Kirby needs to choose Fields for next year as the #1 QB and develop him with all the work and reps.
Outside of Alabama the SEC is not as elite as they want it to be. Those teams are very beatable. Texas just thumped the #2 SEC team easily. It wasn’t even close from start to finish really. Thumped them up front and out ran them too.
SEC West is where it is at.
The SEC East is weak. Georgia gets overinflated by beating teams like Missouri and Tennessee.
Kirby Smart is like Jimbo Fisher.
They want to be Nick Saban and they talk like Nick Saban.
But neither of them are Nick Saban they are more like Mack Brown.

I was thinking the same thing. But in fairness Bama would have boatraced WVU. So saved us the pain.
