came away thinking this year's team is a carbon copy of last year's team....hellish ball hawking defense, attack the boards like hungry dogs but questionable shooting skills. Hopefully better results than last season.

If we ( MU and WVU) could interchange our teams we'd have something. If we hit the glass and played defense like you boys but maintained our shooting skills, we'd have a tough team to beat and visa versa.Pretty much, but I think what we have this year that we didn't last year is at least one guy that will get hot and start making them. Miles and Carter are streaky. During the TCU game Miles was hot in the first half, and then Carter was hot in the second half. I think that's an improvement over last year, although not significant enough to say that this team is appreciably better than last year's team.
Still can't make FT's, which has already cost us one game and will cost us more if we don't get it fixed.

I agree, WVU will ball hawk anyone...and I'd take MU in a horse game against anyone in the NCAA.Definitely.
I'm encouraged by Brandon Watkins this year and Sags Konate is coming along nicely as well. Watkins has been working obviously, he's been hitting some outside jumpers which is great to see.
If what you suggested was somehow possible, we'd have a serious NC contender I think.
