2024 West Virginia Mountaineer football is upon us!!!
Short and sweet today. 40 years ago the streak was broken and then Ped State "lost" the Iron Clad Trophy (round-robin winner of SPitt/Ped State/WVU footbal games every year - Wikipedia is your friend) after WVU won it. Well, time to start re-claiming it. Right now.
Should be a good one and want to see WVU win in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Running game will be there and Greene is the X factor on offense. Force turnovers and play with aggression and ferocity. Crowd should be fully lubricated and wild by kickoff.
I like it. While I wish the game was later, the spotlight is on Morgantown to start the college football season. I'm good with that.
Cobia fishing with my brother in law until kickoff - heading out in an hour - but I'll be ready.
