I doubt this. Unless you can build a wall out of a mountain of paperwork Id guess the ACOE wont build a wall. They are pencil pushers.

Project managers? No. Consultants? Bahahaha. They could read the permits and compare them to the checklist and see if it is approved.I could possibly see them as project managers or design consultants. But the actual construction? Hard for me to imagine they're even capable of that much less able to actually do it.

Its not a dam. It is a wall. The corp deals with waterways. I think people are looking for things that are not there.I'm not a big fan of anything Government does that can more efficiently and effectively be handled in the private sector, however if they can be of any value in terms of facilitating construction of the border wall I'm OK with them being of whatever assistance they can provide. Bottom line is I want to see that thing built...the sooner the better. If they can help speed that process up...more power to 'em.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)[5] is a U.S. federal agency under the Department of Defense and a major Army command made up of some 37,000 civilian and military personnel,[1] making it one of the world's largest public engineering, design, and construction management agencies. Although generally associated with dams, canals and flood protection in the United States, USACE is involved in a wide range of public works throughout the world. The Corps of Engineers provides outdoor recreation opportunities to the public, and provides 24% of U.S. hydropower capacity. Its not a dam. It is a wall. The corp deals with waterways. So, are you over your little hissy fit?
