Urban is toast....certain people on suicide watch

Thanks for keeping your finger on the pulse of Ohio State athletics, but you missed last night's story about Dwayne Haskins' stealing of Won't Grier's seat at the Heisman table in New York. Buzzkill and my stalker, who continues his obsession over me, notwithstanding my having put him on ignore long ago, will now throw a tantrum because you've started a thread about Ohio State and me.

So who do you want next??

OSU won games long before Urban ever got there...they'll be fine without him, maybe better off!

Ryan Day is being named the next head coach. He's a very good QB coach and bright offensive coordinator, but is he great head coaching material? I have no idea. Urban and his staff have been elite recruiters, and there is no way to know whether Day and his staff will be able to duplicate the recruiting success. Some young and spoiled Ohio State fans, who think that Urban Meyers grow on trees, may get a large dose of reality over the next few years.

No, Ohio State will not be better off. Urban Meyer is 82-9, 7-0 vs. Michigan, and has won a national title, a Fiesta Bowl, a Sugar Bowl, a Cotton Bowl, and three conference championships in his seven seasons in Columbus. The key to future success will be whether Ohio State can continue to recruit at an elite level, and this remains to be seen.

No, but I am bummed out. Another John Cooper might be around the corner, and I don't want to see Jim Hairball with a smile on his face.

Haskins didn't steal anything.....yet..(.that seems to be the norm for buckeye QB's..shoes, tattoos)....Grier fumbled away his chances.....just like ahia state fumbled away the NC hopes at Purdue

didn't see they had already named Day.

Ryan Day is not officially the new head coach yet, but the word around Columbus is that it is a done deal, and will be announced during a press conference scheduled for 2:00 p.m. today.

Grier also fumbled away Ohio State's best chance to make the CFP. I should have rooted for the Old Fold & Blew vs. chOkelahoma...but you know that would have been impossible for me.

Not today dogpeckergnat. Since you're already on suicide watch I wouldn't want to be responsible for pushing you over the edge.

Didn't uga finish ranked higher?

The prevailing view in Columbus is that the CFP Committee put Georgia in between Oklahoma and Ohio State to create the appearance that Oklahoma was the clear No. 4 choice, in an effort to reduce controversy, and that there was no way that a two-loss non-champion would have been selected instead of Ohio State. I don't know this for sure, but if a two-loss non-champion were chosen for the Playoffs instead of any Power 5 one-loss champion, then the current system would have imploded.

ISU has put their AD on watch. Ohio State will come knocking.

Senility is a vicious bitc# isn't she, T-BoneAllen? Read my post above re: Ohio State's new head coach, and he isn't at Iowa State, pinhead.
