As WVSports.com first reported earlier this summer Glen Valley (Ca.) Los Angeles Valley C.C. defensive end Brandon Lawless was a prospect that West Virginia was looking at as a potential late addition. Well today he reported that the Mountaineers have offered him a scholarship to enroll this summer if he chooses and he would be immediately eligibile. While he hasn't committed yet things are looking VERY promising and I'll have more soon. He would have four years to play three once he enrolls during fall camp. Lawless told me that he is very excited over the opportunity and has developed a very close relationship with Bruce Tall and is being recruited as a weakside defensive end. He plans to go home and talk things over with his family but that appears to be more of a formality than anything.
