Miami (Fla.) Norland linebacker Emmett Rice told me that right now he is down to Florida State, West Virginia and Louisville and plans to announce a decision and sign with one of the schools on national signing day around 8:30 a.m. He is currently committed to Florida State and has been for most of the process but has taken official visits to both West Virginia for the Texas Tech game and Louisville this past weekend. Running backs coach JaJuan Seider is the lead recruiter here and West Virginia stopped in to see him throughout the contact period, with Seider and head coach Dana Holgorsen visiting him this past week. I've heard that they did a good job selling his mother on the program. He is a Rivals250 prospect and wants to find a program where he can get on the field early.
