Garden City (C.C.) defensive back Lonnie Johnson told me that he has not heard from West Virginia this week and they have not visited him yet. The Mountaineers visited Johnson last week and were targeting him at both safety and cornerback. Johnson is originally from Indiana and committed to Ohio State out of high school before ending up at Western Michigan due to academics. He is currently committed to Iowa State and will have three years to play two. Iowa State, Toledo, New Mexico, Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama and UAB have all offered at this stage.
